Thomas Keeling, DMD
Meet Dr. Keeling
Dr. Thomas Keeling was born and raised in the small town of Mendham, New Jersey before attending Providence College to earn his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biochemistry. After his time in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Tom received his Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey before enrolling in dental school at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. As the oldest of five children in his family, Dr. Tom has always seen himself serving the pediatric population. During his time in Boston, Dr. Tom earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree and graduated with summa cum laude honors. Dr. Tom pursued his post-doctoral residency training in pediatric dentistry at the Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine/University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. During his time at Rutgers, Dr. Tom developed the skills and comprehensive knowledge to treat children with all types of dental treatment options including behavior management, nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and hospital dentistry. Prevention and patient comfort are of utmost importance to Dr. Tom. His goal is to help great pediatric dental patients transition to become great dental adult patients.
Dr. Tom has professional affiliations with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Tom is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tom spends most of his free time with his lovely wife, Rose Keeling, who is also a dentist. Dr. Tom enjoys playing ice hockey and golf. His favorite sports teams include the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Bucks, Providence Friars, Butler Bulldogs, New Jersey Devils and Nashville Predators. He’s excited and proud to call Nashville (Smashville) home.
